Founded in 1776, Petham Primary School is a small, welcoming rural school with a rich history and a strong sense of community. We are proud to be part of Our Community Multi Academy Trust (OCMAT), led by Chief Executive Officer, Mr David Whitehead.

Nestled in the picturesque village of Petham, just outside the historic city of Canterbury, our school enjoys an inspiring countryside setting. Surrounded by rolling hills, woodland and open fields, and just a short walk from All Saints Church, we make the most of our beautiful environment and value the strong links we have with our local community.

With approximately 100 pupils across four classes, we provide a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish. Our small size allows us to build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring that every pupil receives the support and challenge they need to succeed.

The school is led by Mr J Higgins, Head of School and overseen by Mr S Guy, Executive Headteacher. Mr S Guy is the Executive Headteacher of Petham Primary, Milstead & Frinsted C of E Primary and Bredgar C of E Primary.
