I have been a parent at Petham School since 2016 and a member of the LMC since 2021. My role on the LMC is monitoring personal development and pupil outcomes.  I am local to Petham and am also a member of the school PTFA.  I work as a veterinary surgeon, which is very different to education, but not being in education helps bring a different perspective to the table.
